Bert C. Frichot, III, M.D. (Chuck)
Chuck's first photographic experience was at age 12 taking pictures with a Brownie Hawkeye camera and developing his own negatives.
He grew up in Oklahoma attending college and medical school at the University of Oklahoma. After graduation and internship he was drafted into the U.S. Army going to Germany for 2 years to serve as a General Medical Officer. After sick call each day he "hung out" at the photo lab on base learning darkroom techniques from the German lab director. Germany did provided a wealth of photo opportunities and hence improving composition and darkroom techniques.
After coming back to the continental USA he received his specialty training in Dermatology at the University of Minnesota. Later, while on the academic faculty at the University of Nebraska Medical School for 7 years, he worked on black and white as well as color darkroom techniques and even competed in Professional competition for 2 years.
In 1991 he made a decision to abandon regular darkroom technique and move into the new area of digital photography. This has been an evolving medium which now approaches results from the traditional analog photography.
Jason's start in photography was in 1992 while in high school. As an artist (ink & colored pencils) he has a keen eye for the subtle shades in nature, which are evident in his pictures of flowers. He is currently shooting in film and digital formats. His home is backed up on Lake Watkins in Newalla, Oklahoma. this scenic backdrop has provided many pictures of eagles, woodpeckers and wetland birds.
Bert's start in photography was 110mm with an old twin lens box camera. Taking pictures of the Oregon Trail from Nebraska to Oregon in 1975 under the tutelage of his father, Chuck Frichot. After college, Bert pursued a career in the information technology field as a database administrator. While going through a particular rough time in his life he jumped back into photography. This time using the digital media he was able to learn new methods of developing using Adobe Photoshop. Wanting to share this with all of his friends he started up this company shooting events.
Clint is our graphic designer. Having a great sense of humor in working with us is a requirement for the job. Clint is our resident comidian. He has a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Central Oklahoma. His band Goodwill can be found http://www.goodwillband.net/.
